💬 Session Topics:

July 31Rooting Relationships: Collaborating with Staff & Admin

Before the emails flood in and the calendar fills up, take time to connect with the people who help shape your school’s climate. This session will focus on how to introduce yourself to admin and staff, build trust, and assess the current campus culture so you can start the year aligned and empowered.

August 1Time Well Spent: Planning for Purpose, Not Panic

Let’s talk strategy, not spreadsheets. In this session, we’ll explore what belongs in your counseling calendar, who to share it with, and how to make your time visible and respected. We’ll cover how to build a support system for when you're off campus or in classrooms, who can assess situations in your absence, and how to communicate your availability with clarity. You'll walk away with tools to help you prioritize, set boundaries, and create a sustainable rhythm for your year.

August 4You’re Not Alone: Navigating the First Year with Confidence

Being a new counselor is exciting—and overwhelming. This discussion-based session creates space for questions, shared experiences, and honest advice. We’ll unpack common first-year challenges, offer practical strategies, and remind you: you’ve got this, and you’re not alone.
